We want you to have the smoothest results possible, so a little prep goes a long way. Here’s how to get ready for your wax:

Hair Length
For the wax to grip properly, hair should be at least a quarter of an inch long. That usually means two weeks of growth after shaving or four to six weeks after your last wax.

Exfoliate
Exfoliate gently the day before your appointment. This clears away dead skin, helps prevent in-growns, and makes hair removal more effective.

Comfy Clothes
Wear loose, breathable clothing to your appointment. Your skin will thank you for it.

Skip the Stimulants
Alcohol and caffeine can make skin more sensitive. If you’re worried about discomfort, some clients take a Tylenol or Advil about 30 minutes before.

Plan Ahead
Book your wax three to four days before a big event so your skin has time to chill. If you’re new to Brazilian waxing and prepping for something major like a wedding, try to come in two to three times before the big day for best results.

Safety First

• Avoid waxing if you are taking Accutane or have used it in the last six months.
• We cannot wax over sunburnt or irritated skin.
• For your safety and ours, we also cannot wax if you have any active STIs or infections in the area being treated.

TAKE CARE DOWN THERE

For the First 24 Hours
After a wax your follicles are more open, so it is normal to have a little redness or tenderness. To keep things smooth and avoid irritation:

• No touching
  
  
• No exercise or sweating
  
  
• No tanning
  
  
• No swimming, steam rooms, or saunas
  
  
• No sexual contact
  
  

Between Waxes

• Skip shaving — it disrupts your hair cycle and can undo your smooth results.
  
  
• Exfoliate and moisturize daily to keep skin soft and prevent in-growns.
  
  
• Fend off in-growns with our bikini brush and treatments like Finipil, PFB Vanish.
  
  

Stay consistent — book every 4 to 6 weeks. With regular waxing, hair grows back softer, finer, and sparser over time.
